Usability Testing
Measuring whether real users can complete real tasks.
What working with us on this looks like in practice.
What this engagement covers.
We design and moderate task-based usability sessions against your defined user flows. Observers score friction points using a defined rubric. Findings are prioritized by severity and mapped to specific UX improvements.
Realistic tasks written against your user journeys, not synthetic demos.
Structured think-aloud protocol with consistent observation notes.
Each friction point rated by frequency, impact, and ease of fix.
Prioritized list of UX issues with verbatim evidence and improvement recommendations.
Expert-led audit using Nielsen's 10 heuristics as a lightweight complement.
Usability testing, answered.
What is usability testing?
Usability testing puts real users in front of your product with realistic tasks and observes where they hesitate, misunderstand or fail. It finds problems that internal teams cannot see because they already know how it works.
How many participants do you need?
Five to eight participants per user group surfaces the large majority of usability problems. Beyond that you see diminishing returns, so it is usually better to run more rounds than to recruit larger ones.
What do you deliver?
Session recordings, a prioritised list of the problems observed with how many participants hit each, and specific design recommendations, so the output is actionable rather than a list of general observations.
